Your data choices.
This page explains, in plain English, what this website measures, why it is useful, and how you can switch first-party analytics off or back on whenever you want.
First-party analytics
No advertising tracker is installed. A small NorthStar-owned system measures visits and active sessions so the site can be improved.
What is measured
- The page path and title you viewed.
- The referring page, when your browser provides one.
- Browser-generated visitor and 30-minute session identifiers.
- Brief live-presence updates while the page is visible.
What is not the goal
The analytics are built to understand site usage, not to build advertising profiles. NorthStar's tracker does not intentionally store a raw IP address in its analytics record and does not install a third-party advertising pixel.
Storage in your browser
A durable pseudonymous visitor ID can be kept in local storage and a first-party cookie for up to one year. A session ID and recent activity time are kept in session storage. Your opt-out choice is stored locally and in a first-party cookie so it survives ordinary navigation.
Information you choose to send
If you call, email, or send information through a client-facing form, that information is used to respond, provide the requested service, and maintain the business relationship. Do not send sensitive information through a demo.
External services
Some pages may request fonts or software libraries from established content-delivery providers such as Google, jsDelivr, or unpkg. Those providers receive ordinary technical request data under their own policies.
Working demos and client links
The systems in the live demo library are illustrative browser experiences. Entries you type into them should be treated as sample data. Links to client, partner, or other external sites take you to services NorthStar does not control.
Questions or requests
For a privacy question, correction request, or deletion request concerning information you knowingly sent to NorthStar, email Westyn@northstardigitalweb.com or call (337) 372-0506.
