If Tandem did not open
This browser may block links that start Windows apps. On the PC where you want to use Tandem:
- Open File Explorer and find your extracted Tandem folder.
- Double-click Start-Tandem.cmd. Keep its window open while using Tandem.
If you do not have the folder, use Download private client above and extract the ZIP first. To enable the website launch link in a browser that supports it, double-click Install-Tandem-Link.cmd once in that folder.

The local model and gateway run on the owner’s PC. That PC must be on and the model gateway running for a friend to use its processing power.
The friend’s client works with files and browser tools on the friend’s own PC, with the permissions that person grants. File content crosses the private connection only when needed for a request.
Website approval controls who can request a connection. Tailscale sign-in links the approved identity to a private connection between the two PCs.
Approved users can download the private Windows client. Install it on the computer whose files and browser you want Tandem to use.
